This is last week at the Miniature Tigers concert at the Velour in Provo. How often does your favorite band come into town and play at the tiniest local venue? Not very often, let me tell you. But this concert was a dream come true and I even got my own picture with the lead singer! Long Live the Miniature Tigers. I'm buying your album come July.
I haven't really thought a whole lot about New Moon coming out, and by not a "whole lot" I mean compared to how excited I was for Twilight last year. My true allegiances lie with Harry Potter so I don't get too excited about Twilight, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't a HUGE fan and really excited for the movie to come out. I mean, some of you know how many times I saw Twilight in theaters and it's quite an embarrassing number. I (and I know Josh, too) hope I don't like this one as much so I don't get sucked into that time and money drain. Book 2 was my least favorite in the series. May the movies be the same!
Anyway, reason for this blog? This article was linked on my homepage and I enjoyed it. It's different celebrities weighing in on team Jacob vs Edward. It makes me feel just a little bit closer to my famous friends. I only would've liked it better had Kristen Bell given her 2 cents. So here's the article! Celebs on Twilight
ps. As I write this I'm listening to 'A Colbert Christmas' album. It's hilarious and awesome and FEIST has a song and sings on another 2 songs. Count it as my favorite christmas album of the year. Some of the other songs include 'Can I Interest You in Hannukah' from Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, and 'Nutmeg' by John Legend and SC.
I love The Soup. I love it so much that it's kind of embarrassing. Nonetheless, I'm going to let you see my two favorite clips that I frequently (I know, how and when is that possible??) quote. Or mock. You choose.

A little dance competition, anyone?? (word warning in the last 5 seconds)
Found this little video while youtube surfing. It makes me happy. Especially the inability to say 'better' and 'let her'. Or any other word with L's in it.
This further enhances my desire to have babies of other races.
Yesterday morning I spent about 2 hours looking up interviews of Dan Rad and Emma Watson on Youtube. Let's see you try to stop clicking on the links provided at the end of a video about your favorite person ever! I also discovered that Wentworth Miller (my sexy boyfriend from prison) is in Mariah Carey's We Belong Together music video, which is actually a Part II of their long romance. I dont' know the name of the first...Natalie could probably tell you.
But anyway, I'm head over heels in love with all of this Harry Potter Mania. I get Mugglenet updates on my homepage, I watch Youtube interviews, I have an address for Rupert Grint (I'm going to write him a letter someday), I listen to the MuggleCast podcast any time I'm in my car, and I can't stop thinking about the book. I also discovered (off my handy mugglenet headlines) that JK Rowling is eventually going to write a Harry Potter Encyclopedia to tell me about all the other characters in the Wizarding world that I never knew too much about. This morning I found this fantastic article, so if you're the least interested in HP, please read. What happens to everone else?
If you haven't read book 7 or don't want it spoiled, don't read the above article.
Okay, I just stumbled across this today....but I couldn't stop smiling. So embarassing.
MTV Movie Awards were last night. I didn't watch them. Instead, Mal and I watched Bring It On, which is one of the most embarassing movies to watch. Sooo good though.
Anyway, I was reading my morning news from People and E! online, and there were some articles about Sarah Silverman bashing Paris Hilton, so I youtube(d) it and watched the intro and it was disgusting and I don't know how Sarah Silverman got to host the awards. One of the other links (you tube posts other videos on the right column?) was for last year's Kiss of the Year from the Notebook. How could I resist?
Two things CNN news headlines brought me this morning. One sad, the other quite funny.
First off, I can't believe this story. It is disgusting. What kind of mother could murder her children? This is either a growing trend in Texas or there is a lot more talk about it now. I can't believe the kind of insanity it would take to do such a thing.
Second story is not so dark.
I can't imagine how embarassing this would be, but I couldn't help but laugh at seeing it over and over and over and over again. Dear Rachel Smith, I feel bad for you, but that's what you get for being really pretty. Love, Kendall
