Don't read this if:
A) You hate politics
B) You know your political facts (because I had to have gotten some of these wrong)
C) You like how I only blog about unimportant things.

I just wanted to let you all know, I am really, reeeeeeeally sick of the media being so rude about Sarah Palin. I like her. She seems like a nice person. I am very sick of celebrities using their "celebrity" to endorse or oppose candidates. I think it's interesting that so many articles and news shows all fight about Palin, bring up random facts from her past politics, like how she may have tried to get her ex brother-in-law fired (the brother who tazered his son, Sarah's nephew), and how she's ruthless. And now LiLo is all up in her grill for not supporting gay marriage and abortion and birth control. Let's think for a minute.

REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES GENERALLY DO NOT SUPPORT THOSE THINGS. There is no need to get all hot and bothered about Sarah Palin because she's a woman.

I wonder if these celebrities realize that Obama is a communist? I think they see a pretty face and a promise for change and jump on the bandwagon. Or, instead, build the wagon and encourage brainless teenagers to jump on. Dear celebrities, if you really want to make a change, donate HALF of your income to people in need. You'd still make waaaay more than the average American family. And people would probably love you more, and stalk you less.

Soooo again, let's all see how lovely Sarah Palin is. That's a prettier face than Obama. Even the lesbians could probably agree on that.

Love you, bye!

not only do i want her to be my vice president/plain ole president, i want to date her.

And I want all celebrities to jump on themselves. Their opinions (yes, you lindsay lohan) just make me like her more.

(ps. the lindsay lohan quote of the century for anyone who missed it - "I really cannot bite my tongue anymore when it comes to Sarah Palin,” Lohan wrote. "Is it a sin to be gay? Should it be a sin to be straight? Or to use birth control? Or to have sex before marriage? Or even to have a child out of wedlock? … I find it quite interesting that a woman who now is running to be second in command of the United States only four years ago had aspirations to be a television anchor. Which is probably all she is qualified to be.”, to which I respond - Unlike you ms lohan, who seems to be qualified only for stints in rehab and general pettiness.)

okay, my rant is over. I hope your life is being good. I think maybe someday we should say hi to each other again, and maybe eat a hot dog. or pickles and cheese. or watch heroes. Or vmars. Okay, officially done now.

My most favorite line currently in blogendom. I'm so sick of the celebrity vote.

I love political girls. Unfortunately for me, this only makes you more attractive to Steven Colbert.

I had to read you last line again to really let it sink in and it gave me a good laugh! Thanks! Without Mike at home right now, I needed a daily dose of political thoughts and witty comments! Hope things are going well! Did you get a job?!

Obama is a communist. hahaha.
What bothers me the most is when some dumb girl my age is trashing Palin and glorifying Obama. Seriously I cannot deal with it.

LiLo needs to crawl under a rock. I'm tired of her.

Kendall and Obama, I love you both.

PS. Palin kills Polar Bears.

Screw you, Matt Damon.

When I write for the paper one day I will quote you, my dear Kendall, in every article I write. Please be prepared.

Thank you.

I am so happy to know that I am not the only one with a girl crush on Sarah!! I think that she is amazing and somehow still relatable. I am going to scratch out McCain/Palin and write in Palin/MaCain. Do you think they will still count it?

sometimes the *anti* commercials make me like the candidate even more... "oh wait what?? they are against abortion and gay marraige??? ok! i think i WILL vote for them!!! ... thanks lindsay!"

did you see the picture of her in her nice, modest, one peice swim suit from the miss alaska pageant? it was on extra or something. it made me laugh. they made it seem like a scandal cuz she wore a swim suit.

I don't think it's because she's a woman. It's because she's completely unfit for her position.

And, I think it is awfully ironic that you disapprove of the media objectifying her, while your last line does just that.

You have some good points. But you would make more if you had an open mind.
