I feel so let down. For the second time in two days I realized that google reader isn't giving me updates on two very important blogs. Now I'm beginning to wonder what other things I'm missing out on! And how did this happen? Google is my life. This is google project number 3 to fail and I'm not sure how I feel about it. Sure, I'm not in a crazy enough mood to switch to yahoo or aol, but times like these make a girl think. First google text making me be all specific, then google chrome not being friendly with facebook and NOW google reader not letting me know when Amber and Emma write new blogs.
I'm so disappointed.

Correct me if I'm mistaken...
This is a real business letter I received at work the other day. I swear I had to re-read it at least three times to understand what the heck was going on. Turns out this hospital won't donate money to a volunteer because they only donate to "not for profit organizations", commonly known as "non-profit organizations". And ILP (the company I work for) is a non-profit organization. Actually, maybe I am wrong and the two are different? Please let me know.

P.S.
I like the last sentence. Peter must've said, "Emphasize that we donate to not for profit organizations ONLY, not anything else. Thank you now go back to financing in braille."
P.P.S
Did you notice how this letter can be personalized, right at the top? So sweet of NBNHD.

WARNING.
Don't read this if:
A) You hate politics
B) You know your political facts (because I had to have gotten some of these wrong)
or
C) You like how I only blog about unimportant things.
I just wanted to let you all know, I am really, reeeeeeeally sick of the media being so rude about Sarah Palin. I like her. She seems like a nice person. I am very sick of celebrities using their "celebrity" to endorse or oppose candidates. I think it's interesting that so many articles and news shows all fight about Palin, bring up random facts from her past politics, like how she may have tried to get her ex brother-in-law fired (the brother who tazered his son, Sarah's nephew), and how she's ruthless. And now LiLo is all up in her grill for not supporting gay marriage and abortion and birth control. Let's think for a minute.
REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES GENERALLY DO NOT SUPPORT THOSE THINGS. There is no need to get all hot and bothered about Sarah Palin because she's a woman.
I wonder if these celebrities realize that Obama is a communist? I think they see a pretty face and a promise for change and jump on the bandwagon. Or, instead, build the wagon and encourage brainless teenagers to jump on. Dear celebrities, if you really want to make a change, donate HALF of your income to people in need. You'd still make waaaay more than the average American family. And people would probably love you more, and stalk you less.
Soooo again, let's all see how lovely Sarah Palin is. That's a prettier face than Obama. Even the lesbians could probably agree on that.
Love you, bye!

Embarassing...
I decided it's definitely time for me to write a new blog. I showed Ruby (nurse bff from work) my blog, and I realized all my recent blogs are about Breaking Dawn. Dear friends, Breaking Dawn isn't my life. So here's my life update:
Tonight is my last night in West Linn. I go home (what?! Provo is home?) tomorrow morning at 6:50 AM. I am currently watching Tristan & Isolde with Mal Pal and trying to pack all the crap I somehow accumulated over the summer. Dear Aunt Cheri, I know, I have so much stuff. Thank you so much for housing all my abundant belongings.
My last day at work was a success. I kind of worked, played with my work Bff's, we had an amazing bonfire at lunch time, and I got lots of hugs and gave lots of cards. I was so lucky to work in an office where I was friends with my co-workers. It made my summer pretty bearable!
Cheers, everyone! I'll see some of you soon, others of you at Christmas or Thanksgiving, or the next couple weeks.
Quote of the summer:
"You can't have eye sex with girls like that, Tristan! It gives you away."

Lalala
I cannot, for the life of me, figure out something interesting to blog about, but I have this nagging voice in the back of my head that tells me it's time to blog again. How about a recap of my day? Okay.
I got to work at 8:03 and forgot to clock in for the 3rd time EVER. One at Subway (over a year ago) and the other earlier this summer.
Did my work.
Talked to my bff Christen about her snotty 13 year old daughter who is a chronic liar.
Texted Josh a lot.
Checked in a lot of patients.
Ate lunch and watched Shrek the Third with my work bffs.
Called a bunch of old women about scheduling their mammograms.
Counted the money, closed the office.
Remembered to clock out.
Came home, poured myself some Hot Tamales and started a blog.
I sincerely hope you had a more exciting day than I did.
Love you! BYE!

This is no Friday.
Hey guys, I just finished my first week of working at the medical office full time. It was pretty good, I keep busy all day, but I don't have the internet.
As you can see, I'm not too energized.
HAGW.
(reminiscent of HAGS, my favorite yearbook note of love.)

Today's the Day.
Okay guys, today is the day I start the medical reception job, and slowly release the best job in the world that I have at this staffing agency. I'm moderately sad.
Medical job pays $2 less per hour. This is going to be somewhat bad.
Medical job is 7.0 miles closer, or less than 1 mile away from my home.
Medical job is not right behind Target or across the street from the mall.
Medical job will make me work...that'a mostly good thing.
Medical job doesn't have internet, and runs on anchient computer systems.
Therefore, I will not be blogging. After this week. I still get mornings (through friday) at this staffing agency job of freedom and internet.
Wish me luck! Please bless my blood pressure doesn't rise and my hair doesn't fall out from the stress that is sure to come from working as a medical receptionist.

I've resorted to reading books online during the work hours. The book is The Invisible Man by H.G. Wells.
A paragraph I enjoyed:
Mr. Thomas Marvel was sitting with his feet in a ditch by the roadside over the down towards Adderdean, about a mile and a half out of Iping. His feet, save for socks of irregular open-work, were bare, his big toes were broad, and pricked like the ears of a watchful dog. In a leisurely manner -- he did everything in a leisurely manner -- he was contemplating trying on a pair of boots. They were the soundest boots he had come across for a long time, but too large for him; whereas the ones he had were, in dry weather, a very comfortable fit, but too thin-soled for damp. Mr. Thomas Marvel hated roomy shoes, but then he hated damp. He had never properly thought out which he hated most, and it was a pleasant day, and there was nothing better to do. So he put the four shoes in a graceful group on the turf and looked at them. And seeing them there among the grass and springing agrimony, it suddenly occurred to him that both pairs were exceedingly ugly to see. He was not at all startled by a voice behind him.
Sometimes it's worth reading quasi-boring books for passages like this.

One week left.
So this is what I do during the summer, to everyone who doesn't know me from last summer. I...
a) Check out updates on my Google Reader
b) Check out the new headlines on CNN
c) " on E!
d) " on People.com
e) Complain about the weather
f) Write blogs
g) Read "Daily Humor by Giglish"
h) Get headlines from Mugglenet.com (beware it has a lot of ads and spam)
i) Look at the following food sites:
Simply Recipes
Food Network
Pampered Chef
Healthies Foods
j) Look at classes I would ever ever want to take. (byu.edu)
k) Read the links in my "Read to be Entertained" blog section
l) Constant re-updating myself on People.com and E! news headlines.
m) Surf calorie contents in all kinds of foods.
n) Read craigslist free stuff, job postings, and white china ads.
o) Find blogs I've never read before
p) Google random words I don't know
q) Read books. (see: Gossip Girl)
r) Put books on hold at the library, although lately this habit isn't so good, because I reached the maximum of 10 holds and I have to wait for them to be at the library before I can check them out. This put an abrupt end to my searching.
s) Shoe shopping (online only)
t) Look up the extremely expensive places where those characters in those notsogood books shop, and then be appalled at how much everything costs.
u) MSN.com homepage and everything about it. Mostly the food/nutrition/exercise pages. I like finding random workouts.
v) Constant Gmail open and sporadic chatting.
w) Try really hard not to spend money. This one takes a lot of work, but I've been pretty good about it. I have a college education to fund, so it's important I save my dollars.
x) Drink coke.
y) Read magazines and cut things out. This happens a lot. I probably have a collage of the stuff I cut out. I probably get really bored at work.
z) Talk to Josh.
Sooo I do probably everything on that list in one work day. Multiple times. a-d I do probably 10 times a day, at least. The news is the one thing that always changes, so it's entertaining to re-update myself at every possibly second. That makes me your walking, talking, news radio station. Go ahead! Ask me about the weird Austrian family, or about Mariah and Nick Cannon's relationship. I take a personal interest in J&J (John and Jen) because Joshua is the John lover and I'm the Jen lover, so they make the perfect couple. And Penn Badgley and Blake Lively (my GG stars) are the cutest couple alive. Too bad I have no faith in Hollywood, and all these lovely relationships will be dead in a couple weeks (months if we're lucky).
May we all be lucky.
KW
ps.
Thank you, Emma, for the new food blog. I LOVE IT! and Adam, I'm sorry I have not written your blog yet. I promise it will come before 2008 is over. And I miss you guys. bye.

I read a wonderful little article on WIKIHOW about how to save money! It was quite helpful, but this little bit of information made my day.

I'm a working girl! Love you bye.

Starting Now
Hey guys......I'm gone.
Well, I'm in Oregon now after finishing that finals stuff and the worrying about my grades all getting in, and not forgetting to take any finals, etc. Ever since coming home things have been working out perfectly for me (except for the whole Josh is still in Utah thing...), so I'm here to brag. And WARNING: I ramble.
Before I came home I had a job interview set up for a medical office (in West Linn!!) that needed a full-time summer receptionist and I GOT THE JOB! But I won't really start until June, so I had a month to burn time until I started. The busy bee that I am, I started looking for a job to a) fill up the month time or b) to have a second night time job and maybe get experience for my dietetics program (did I mention to mak more money? because that should be on there). Last summer I was signed up for a staffing agency for a meager week until I worked at that one
law firm. So today I stopped by the SA to see if I could maybe find some temp work for the next month and BAM! they need a new receptionist for a month, I need a receptionist job for a month, I GOT THE JOB. And I start tomorrow. I'm making lasagna for my father and sister tonight because I'm mom because my real mom is out of town.
Long story short:
Good News:
I got the medical receptionist job.
I got a one month temp receptionist job.
I didn't have to try too hard to get either job.
I'm making lasagna tonight.
I blogged.
Bad News:
Joshua lives in Utah.
First job doesn't start until June
Second job is at the scary temp agency.
I'm lazy.
I still don't have a waitressing job at Macaroni Grill.
I have to clean my room tonight.
End!

I'm typing this in Excel first.
Okay guys, I'm blogging. For the next week (if I'm lucky) I have computer access during the work hours. However, I will be trying my hardest to stay away from the internet as I have some of the most boring and monotonous crap in the world to accomplish. Really though, I just wanted to let everyone know just how much I love the version of Microsoft that is on this brand new computer that I am working on. I think it's the business microsoft? Whatever it is, it's sublime. All the screens kind of fade out when you minimize, the little alarm noises are fancy and the automatic font on every program is Calibri, which just happens to be a very lovely looking font. I'm in love with this and I am considering thievery to get this little bit of magic in my own possesion. Or maybe I know what I want to spend my non-existent money on next.
Family reunion was the worst family reunion that I've been to, but that in no way means that it was horrible. Considering I really really look forward to these reunions every year and am never disappointed, a worst family reunion actually means it was enjoyable, just not my favorite. It was lonely not having Natalie, but Alaina and Adrie were very fun. Adrienne Sage makes me so happy, she's such a goofy little baby. Rachel and I are twins...I read the second Eragon book (Eldest) and re-fell in love with that series.
I am becoming excited beyond excited for school to start again. I am officially going to pursue dental hygienistry as my future career. I can't wait to live with Rach and Sami and LeeAnne and Beckers. Next year is going to be extremely FUN!
So anyway, I'm going to finish now. I hope I have satiated your appetite for more blog today, and later tonight or sometime I'm gonna post pictures of my darling niece and my hot sister cousins. BYYYYE

Mind vomit.
Blogging has been slow lately. I think I shouldn't post any more about Harry Potter, but I really don't know what else to blog about.
I'm really excited for this weekend. Alaina is bringing up the baby, Rachel is gonna see my new house, and then I get to go to family reunion and not work!!
Boss lady has decided to not like me again. I am a bit better at handling it this time, but it just gets really annoying when every word out of her mouth is dripping with "you are incompetent compared to meeeee" type emotion. Oh well, I will just be better than her when I grow up. And not weigh 300 pounds. Sorry. That was mean.
Ummm I want to buy Harry Potter and the: a) Order of the Phoenix and b) Deathly Hallows, on Itunes so I can listen to those lovely books on my way to work and stuff. Unfortunately, they're about a bazillion dollars each ($49.99)
I got a new digital camera. My college experience is going to be 2048 times better because of this. Sorry this is boring. More like a journal. And did you ever notice that blogs are never really boring until the blogger says, "Oh, sorry this is so boring and dull..."
I think I made up my mind again to become a dental hygienist. Nothing else really seems to fit...so I'm hoping that means this thing is for real. This thing as in working super hard in super hard classes. I'm scared for fall.
Oh yes, last thing, Attorney no. 1 (I think it's 1, not 2) brought me another gift from an art show. It's a lovely blown glass christmas tree ornament.
ohh p.s.
I'm beginning to think the reason they can't keep a receptionist here for more than 4 months isn't because they're all retarded, but because the office manager is hitler.
(receptionist is to office manager as Jew is to Hitler.)

Bah...it's just business.
Today I decided that I don't like business. I hate that some people are unwilling to take the blame for anything, even if it is their fault. I guess it is quite easy to blame the fired employee, the temp employee, the new employee, etc.
My favorite part is when people take credit for someone else's work. I just loooove that.
But seriously, it's raining today and I am very happy about that.
I also went shopping for three hours yesterday and bought two pairs of shoes from Wal-Mart. Trashy, I know, but I have been living without worky shoes for far too long, and the prices just couldn't be beat! Today I'm going to go to payless and see if my feet find more happiness there.
Hopefully I'll blog again later today.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Oh, today I have many things to post about, but of course, I'm going to forget them all because I am now in the process of writing a blog!
1. Last night I had a wonderful dream. Stephanie Hieb and I were leaving school (high school and no, it's not a nightmare) and decided to go to the new NBC studio right across the street. Everyone was waiting in line to get into a show or something and Steph and I persused the gift shop when I saw JOHN KRASINSKI. Blah blah blah, we all ended up talking and sat down to eat something in the Cafe, Dad showed up, Stephanie turned into Becki, and dearest John said he had tickets to some restaraunt in this amazing high rise building that looked out over New York City (we were in NYC at this point) and he invited the three of us. I'm pretty sure John liked me. goooood dream.
2. Harry Potter comes out tomorrow night. I am excrutatingly excited to go see it. I mean, HARRY POTTER! Another plus on this Harry Potter mania is that articles about the HP people come out, and I have read 4 articles from People and E! about my Harry Potter obsessions. However, this article is disgusting.
3. I have a lot of work to do and no motivation to do it. Blast.

Blast.

I hate banks.
Guess what?! I'm going to become a NOTARY! Yesterday Rod informed me that I should be a Notary Public. THey're going to pay for me to do a three hour class, and then I get my own stamp that says, "Kendall Williams; Notary Public of the State of Oregon".
Soo cool. Now I can Notorize all of your documents!

To work or not to work?
I have this internal battle that goes something like this,
"Man I wish I had more work to do."
This is great! Nothing to do! I can surf the web."
"I am so bored."
"I wish I had work to do"
when I have work it goes something like this,
"I hate this work."
"Wow! Time is going by so fast. I hope work ends before I finish this."
"I am so bored."
"I want to be done with this work."
So I think I decided it's probably better when I'm working. Today I spent money buying shoes online because I've had practically nothing to do all day. This working is losing me money.

Oh, It's Irony.
So it seems the only thing I can do at work is blog. Every other website in the world is blocked except the MSN buisness and health sections, so I've been reading on grossly overpaid retired corporate CEO's, and on healthy food tips and ways to cut calories! (don't forget some breast cancer and HBV prevention)
I'm temping for the Temp agency that hired me last week, and it's been kind of crazy. I've never worked phones this busy, but they all seem to be busy at the same time. I'll answer ringing phones off the hook for twenty minutes, then have twenty minutes of absolutely no phone calls. PHONE CALL!
"Adams and Associates, how may I help you?"

I've recieved five calls today from people I do NOT understand. I swear some of these people cannot speak English, and I must be ear retarded because I can't understand a word they say. I feel really awful about it too, I mean, some stupid English teenager who doesn't know what she's doing could probably be a slight drawback to finding a job.
I have 19 minutes left. So I'm signing off until tomorrow when I am here again, 8:30 to 5:30.

To Emo or not to Emo?
So I'm sitting here at work today, just doing nothing, really. I think I've answered the phone three times, and every time it was to speak to the owner. The most exciting part all day was mastering the intercom. But anyway, in some idle chatter with my temporary boss, music was brought up. He asked me what type of music I listen to and I didn't know how to respond! I don't listen to rock or alternative, not really. I guess it's more like the punk/emo acoustic stuff. And this brought up the question in my mind; How do you explain emo music to an old person? It simply can't be done! Try it. I DARE you.
