Just making an appearance

My three favorite things combined. Can you guess what the three are? It isn't too hard.

Harry Potter Kids Luuurve GG

pps.
I saw Harry Potter and the Half blood Prince twice. I'm planning on another time or two. I kind of feel like I should pay at least as much attention to HP as I did to Twilight. Although, I think Joshua and I would go broke if I used that logic. Hmmm.....pictures instead.

Yep those are all my Harry Potter shirts. And Joshua got me those awesome HP specs. I love him.

It snowed a lot.

Two things:

1. My favorite Christmas song this season is "The Christmas Song" by The Ravonettes. It is SO GOOD. Just mix one part Weezer with one part Christmas and one part fantastic music and you get this song. For the record, "All That I Want" by the Weepies was my favorite Christmas song last year.

2. Rachel introduced me to the fug world, and I would like to introduce you to my favorite girl crush gone fug. If you have a couple hours to waste, please peruse this website. I haven't stopped laughing in the last 30 minutes.

Happy Christmas to everyone. Good luck to Joshua on his finals. I can't wait for break!

Weasley is my King

Another short little blog to finish out my last 12 hours of life.

I never really realized what I was missing in the 5th Harry Potter movie until I reread Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I miss Ron's chance to shine. It is actually quite sad, because Rupert Grint didn't even get a very fair share of the limelight when the last film came out. I distinctly remember wondering why Harry (dan rad) and Hermione (emma "my girl crush" watson) had so many interviews, and why Ron had none. Poor guy. We never even got to hear 'Weasley is my King'.

Life just isn't complete.

Wacko? You could say that.

Yesterday morning I spent about 2 hours looking up interviews of Dan Rad and Emma Watson on Youtube. Let's see you try to stop clicking on the links provided at the end of a video about your favorite person ever!
I also discovered that Wentworth Miller (my sexy boyfriend from prison) is in Mariah Carey's We Belong Together music video, which is actually a Part II of their long romance. I dont' know the name of the first...Natalie could probably tell you.

But anyway, I'm head over heels in love with all of this Harry Potter Mania. I get Mugglenet updates on my homepage, I watch Youtube interviews, I have an address for Rupert Grint (I'm going to write him a letter someday), I listen to the MuggleCast podcast any time I'm in my car, and I can't stop thinking about the book. I also discovered (off my handy mugglenet headlines) that JK Rowling is eventually going to write a Harry Potter Encyclopedia to tell me about all the other characters in the Wizarding world that I never knew too much about. This morning I found this fantastic article, so if you're the least interested in HP, please read.
What happens to everone else?

If you haven't read book 7 or don't want it spoiled, don't read the above article.

Okay, I just stumbled across this today....but I couldn't stop smiling. So embarassing.

I think the time has come

Guys, I think I'm going to write a letter. A FAN LETTER.
How embarassing. But the thought consumes me. What if I could MEET Hermione or Ron, or even Harry Potter. I'm not sure if I'm ready to take the jump....but I'll let you know.

And if I do write a letter, it's got to be good. Good enough for the recipient to say, "Oh well I'd like to meet you here's a plane ticket to London."

Gosh, I'm so creepy.

k, Bye!

Oh Harry, you never fail to please me.

Harry. Potter. was. amazing.

There are no words to describe how much I love this movie! AH! The directing was amazing, I was completely scared in the first 10 minutes of the movie. I am soo happy the director for this one is staying for the next movie because honestly, this movie was by far the best of all 5. Yes, Order of the Phoenix had a lot of bad potential, considering I've read the book upwards of 15 times, but I was not disappointed.
It was never long, and it was never boring. The writing was fantastic, and I got some pretty good laughs in. Ron was by far my favorite character in the movie, followed by Hermione. Ginny started to be pretty! ARGH! I want to watch it again.

I guess my only suggestion would be not to read the book before you see the movie, as it does skip out on loads of fun details. Most of the time though, I was never disappointed with the loss of all that great stuff, because I can read the book for it. Sorry this is a boring blog, but seriously, go see the movie. I laughed, I cried (not kidding), and was scared out of my wits(more than once), and left the theatre feeling sufficiently satisfied.

(yep, I'm gonna see it again.)
