Vampire and Holiday Cheer

I haven't really thought a whole lot about New Moon coming out, and by not a "whole lot" I mean compared to how excited I was for Twilight last year. My true allegiances lie with Harry Potter so I don't get too excited about Twilight, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't a HUGE fan and really excited for the movie to come out. I mean, some of you know how many times I saw Twilight in theaters and it's quite an embarrassing number. I (and I know Josh, too) hope I don't like this one as much so I don't get sucked into that time and money drain. Book 2 was my least favorite in the series. May the movies be the same!

Anyway, reason for this blog? This article was linked on my homepage and I enjoyed it. It's different celebrities weighing in on team Jacob vs Edward. It makes me feel just a little bit closer to my famous friends. I only would've liked it better had Kristen Bell given her 2 cents. So here's the article!
Celebs on Twilight

ps.
As I write this I'm listening to 'A Colbert Christmas' album. It's hilarious and awesome and FEIST has a song and sings on another 2 songs. Count it as my favorite christmas album of the year. Some of the other songs include 'Can I Interest You in Hannukah' from Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, and 'Nutmeg' by John Legend and SC.

Twilight Fever

I find it kind of weird that the whole world is having Twilight fever. I thought only Mormons and goths read it, but apparently, the world (or just hollywood) is waiting in anticipation. Robert Pattison is EVERYWHERE.

Here's a little photo gallery for your viewing pleasure. That's all for now.

The Squigglies

I’m blogging on a word document. This is a new high (or low if you’re not a fan of the blogging) for my blogging career. I forgot how much I love that word corrects the weirdest things, and has a little red scribbley underneath all my ‘blogging’s, which, surprisingly, number four already.

I cleaned my bathroom today. By cleaned I don’t mean the usual (as in twice a summer?) windex the counters and mirrors. I mean, I was on my hands and knees scrubbing the corners and crevices and cracks everywhere in my bathroom. I doubt it’s been this clean since before old man Ash died of consumption (alcohol and the dying liver kind of consumption) in the hot tub. I had to clean it so Alaina can’t complain about it to mom and get me in trouble. Please note though, Lainy, that Adrie may die of the chemicals I used to try and make that bathroom clean enough. Please advise her not to lick the oh-so-clean floors. That kind of stuff.

The last three/four days have been very very fun. In the tradition of the Lake Oswego Stake camp girls, I went to the West Linn Old Time Fair with my Lindsey, Whitney, Rachel, Denise, Casi, and various other people. Turns out the Mormons decided to take over the fair. See picture below:

Very, very fun.

Saturday night I watched The Notebook and was inspired by Rachel McAdams sexy 40’s hair and decided I want to be her. The picture below was the end result. Monday I had curled hair pulled back into a cute ‘chiffon’/bun I love from that movie. I don’t think it was quite the same…but I felt great nonetheless. Man the 40’s was a good time for hair and dresses. If you were rich.

I’m wrapping up now, and I must remind you that Twilight and Eclipse are quite possibly the most entertaining, fascinating, and addicting books of all time. Ask Mallory and Whitney. Both of them have read all 3 books in 4 or less days. (Lindsey? You next?)

Good luck with the remainder of the week. I’ll be taking Thursday and Friday off work to go to the beach with Alaina and Adrie. Bye!

K laa

Final Count:

9 red squiggley lines

4 green ones

I got bored so I reread the first one.

I realize I'm running the risk of losing some readers here, but I must be true to my heart. The one I almost just lost. I just about had a heart attack.

1. Article on Twilight movie

2. Trailer for Twilight

3. 4th book in 20 DAYS

Oh. My. Word.

Abbey, Abbey, Abbey, I need you.

I am much too excited.

Is it wrong for a simple sneak peek picture to make me this happy?

Actually, I think the only thing that could make me happier than this is a Jr. Whopper, sin tomatoes. Happy Monday ya'all.

Cliff Jumping=Not Impressive.

I watched four movies. Today.
  • Van Helsing
  • The League of Extraordinary Gentleman
  • Rat Race
  • Red Eye
Six movies in all, this weekend.
  • Mad Money
  • Dream Girls
Joshua and I also went bowling with Adam and Emma. We lost by a lot. Contrary to popular belief, being smart actually does influence your game. AKA Adam won by, like, nine thousand points. Thank you, BYU, for a free game of the bowling for attending your school. I like the physical AND emotional boosts you give. Loves.

That's all!

Helloooo veronica mars.

I really want to see this movie. How could a movie with Veronica Mars and Marshall be bad?? Oh that's right, it can't...

It's the holilday season.

Last Friday Joshua had a birthday. Well, technically, two Sunday's ago was Josh's birthday, but we celebrated on Friday. I prepared many days for the officially celebration, and it turned out quite well.

I made Lasagna, we had carrot cake, Costco rolls, green beans, red kool-aid, and generous quantities of, "Butter! It's not!"

In celebration of my recent trip to Mexico, Rachel's applause worthy Spanish prayers, Mexicans everywhere, and Josh's excellent accent, we had a Spanish birthday carrot cake. Made especially with Mexican vanilla.

Hannah Montana came, Rachel celebrated with us.

Overall a good time. I changed outfits 3 times, and we completed the evening with a good watch of Stardust.

I think a good time was had by all.

Give me kittens and music.

There aren't many things in life that are better than buying a new CD. I love the unfamiliar look and feel of a brand new, unscratched CD case. There is magic in listening to the CD for the first time while perusing the inside cover of the CD case. Soo good.

Feist is amazing. If you don't already love her, you should. Her new cd is great.

I am still laughing at that gangsta picture of Adrie.

I'm going to the drive in tonight to see Shrek 3 and Transformers. I cannot tell you how excited I am. Who actually goes to the drive in?!

On a final note, this one is called "Cat Class"

Happy Christmas!

I am sitting in my bed, my REAL bed, listening to disney music and waiting for the shores of sleep to take me away. I've been informed that santa has already come and I am NOT allowed downstairs. Sad day.

On a good note, the most annoying girl from The Girls Next Door (yes my favorite trashy McTrashy show) Kendra, has a blog. I want to FIND IT! It's probably also, trashy McTrashy, but hey! Hef likes it, and who can argue with hef? Or is it Heff? Hm.

Happy Christmas to everyone!

p.s.
whoever decided that Anastasia isn't a disney movie, sucks. I love Anastasia.
