Family Vacation no.1

Heyyy I'm blogging for two reasons.

1. I am overjoyed the internet is working. I found a different, unsecured connection.

2. I have a paper to write. This is procrastinating.

OHhhh was this weekend a good one! So much happened...but really nothing at all. It all started with a desire to see the Temple lights, and ended with two overnight stays at two different houses, a luncheon worthy of pre-holiday status courtesy of Aunt Cheri, a near brush with death in the "blizzard" of '07, the magic parallel parking job of '07, a climb over a snowy mountain to get the key to safety, near death with the falling snow in Temple Square, dinner at the family roadhouse, two separate visits to G&G, supreme waffle breakfast, a tromp in the five inch snow, backhand deals with the manager at Texas Roadhouse, sip of soup at grandma's, and the worst movie you've ever seen in your life.

I'm glad SOMEONE got to eat at the Texas on my birthday.

I'm ALSO glad it doesn't snow as much here as it does in the UT.

I'm ALLLLLSO glad you're happy.

XOXO.

Looks so FUN!

You forgot playing the piano, Chuck, serious and melancholy conversations at the dinner table, and being force-fed when we were trying to make room for steak.

Lovely pictures!
