It may be that Mallory was just reading it, but The Grapes of Wrath has been on my mind the past couple weeks. Combined with I Am Legend, my brain is a little bit on psycho "end of the world" mode. I'm slightly terrified of some natural disaster that will force me to live off of my (non-existent) food storage, stay inside the house, use walking or bike riding to get to places (like Utah!), or have all cell phone stands explode so there is no more cell phone usage across the world. It really makes me want to be established so I can start storing food for the giant famine or power outage or natural disaster that takes over the world.
So I kind of got off topic from this article I wanted to share, but here you go. One
bona fide grapes of wrath dust bowl/famine story for the current day coming right up! Am I crazy for thinking this is kind of like the Grapes of Wrath?

Tgood news is that if the world blows up while you're at BYU they have enough food storage to feed the whole studentbody for a significant amount of time.
This is something I appreciate.
I would rather be "legend" than sleep in a car with multiple dogs.
Oh you are crazy and the Grapes of Wrath was weirde. I think you will be well established before the famine comes.
I actually read that story. I sort of want a Honda SUV to sleep in. Only if it had leather seats.
